JOB OR POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facilities Team Leader is responsible for assuring that a safe, orderly, and pleasant environment is provided for visitors and employees. Responsibilities include but are not limited to day to day maintenance of the building, equipment, and grounds including security systems; overseeing facilities refurbishment and renovations; and training, and supervising a small custodial staff. The candidate must be a resourceful problem solver and an excellent communicator with practical experience in maintenance, repair and custodial management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Frequent and regular inspections of school facility to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards established by the charter management group
Manage the Custodial clean team to insure a high quality of appearance and overall cleanliness of the Facility.
Troubleshooting of facilities maintenance and repairs in the following areas
Maintenance of Service Logs on equipment and facilities to include
Food Service Equipment
Fire Safety Equipment
Serve as the first point of contact for
Coordination of Routine Repairs and contact with school vendors
Perform other tasks and/or duties as designated by the Principal or Director of Operations and Facilities
