Job Description:


Cohen College Prep High School is searching for a special education paraprofessional for the current school year. If you are relentless about seeing disadvantaged students achieve at high levels, this is a chance to work at a school that does whatever it takes to ensure college success for children.   • The goals for each paraprofessional vary based upon the goals of the individual student they are working with.


Work with students with significant physical and cognitive disabilities.

Assist with the feeding and changing of diapers for students with significant disabilities.

With the special education teacher, implement each student’s individualized education plan.

Collect and record data on student progress towards goals, as well as student health.

Communicate with teachers and families regarding the progress and needs of the students.

Other duties as assigned by the lead teacher
